Flyktplanen är en mångsidig utställning med ett samlat budskap om identitet, politik, humor, prestationsångest och det Ella Tillema själv kallar ”den falska friheten”. Hon menar att den moderna människan, den frihetsälskande liberalen, blir ofri i sina förväntningar på sig själv. Och så även hon själv i rollen som konstnär, kvinna och medborgare.
Ella Tillema arbetar huvudsakligen med figurativt oljemåleri men experimenterar gärna med måleriet som installation. Hon använder det klassiska måleriet för att skapa motsättningar mellan motiv och tradition då det möter en rebellisk och nutida symbolik.
Ella Tillema är sångare,
basist och låtskrivare i bandet Personangrepp och kommer uppträda
med sitt band kl 20.00 på vernissagekvällen.

My
fifth and last year at Malmö Art Academy starts this week. I'm very excited
about my last year and my graduationshow at KHM. The opening will be on December
4th, I'm first out in my class and I will have the opportunity to
use the whole gallery for myself. I think this is a very good thing since
my paintings needs a lot of space. I cant wait to start working on my exhibition!

The annual
exhibition at school is coming closer and I'm keeping myself busy with preparing
for it. This year, I'll show two pieces; an installation with some new paintings
plus a new verision of "Personangrepp". The Grand Opening of the
show is on May 14th. Keep that date in mind!

EP has arrived and you can get a copy from Rundgång in Malmö or
order one from the label DMC
The "recordcovers-side"
is not working properly at the moment. But if you try to look at it in explorer
it should work. Sorry about that.

I
am currently exhibiting four paintings at Galerie Per seh
in Baringshausen, Germany. It's a groupexhibition called "Moderne Helden"
- Modern Heroes. The exhibition is open between Jan
15th to March 22nd.
Personangrepp is now a complete band with three members - Ella, Tias
and Linus. We will soon do our first show and have a 7" coming out soon
on DMC Records.
I also started singing in the band Young Fit Males. If you
wanna hear some nubers from my bands, click on "music" and you can
find links there.
Besides from the music, I'm working a lot in my studio - painting like a maniac.
I will post pics here soon.

My new music
and art project PERSONANGREPP is on the rise! This is music
and
art combined into one big rolling ball of dirt. This is the fisrt time I've
written, played, and recorded all the music by myself. This is the beginning
of a beautiful friendship between music and art.

My time in Braunschweig, Germany has come to an end and it's time for me to head back to Sweden. Before that - me and my class will show our works at the annual exhibition, RUNDGANG, at school. It's been up and down but in the end I can say I'm very satisfied with my stay here, and I'll miss my both new and old friends. I'll be back!
I will also exhibit some works in Malmö at CirkulationsCentralen "On The Wall" in Nov 2008! More info coming soon!

I have really tried to get everything that I'm doing to fit under only one website. But I'm pretty irrational with the stuff I'm doing and sometimes I haven't even documented the things I have done! And it's even harder when there's so many things I'm doing. I hope this website will illustrate my many interest in life. Welcome!
